Two Pools of Mosquitoes trapped by TFCPAD test postive for West Nile Virus

August 10, 2021 - Two pools of mosquitoes tested positive for West Nile Virus. One location was in Twin Falls County, northwest of Buhl along the Snake River. The other location was in Gooding County along the Snake River. The Twin Falls County Pest Abatement District encourages citizens from both counties to drain standing water that mosquitoes can breed in, wear long sleeves and pants, and use an EPA approved repellant when mosquitoes are active.
