Mosquito Surveillance Update

With cooler nights, mosquito activity has been declining. September’s trap counts are fewer than half of August’s trap count average. Although the fall is around the corner, we encourage everyone to help fight the bite by draining standing water, wearing long sleeve shirts and pants, and using EPA approved repellants to help limit the possibility of West Nile Virus transmission in Twin Falls County.
